Profile dashboard overview

Use a profile dashboard to start work for one client or student and open their goals, sessions, notes, finances, reports, and files.

Open a profile dashboard

  1. Open Caseload.
  2. Find the client or student.
  3. Select Dashboard in their row.
  4. Check the profile name before continuing.

After a profile is open, use the profile selector near the top of the page to switch records. The dashboard cards and tabs apply to the selected client or student.

Review the profile header

The profile header shows the selected client or student and includes these actions:

  • Edit photo
  • Edit
  • Archive

Profile details can include contact information, caregiver or parent information, default service, service location, start date, primary source, and authorization dates.

Understand the dashboard cards

  • Overall Performance shows a summary when completed session data is available. An empty profile can show Complete sessions to see performance.
  • Finance Status shows finance information for the selected profile. Select Details to open the profile's Finance tab.
  • Quick Actions provides Start Session, Add Appointment, Add Note, and Generate Reports.
  • Upcoming Appointments shows scheduled work for the selected profile. Select Calendar to open the profile's sessions area.
  • Active Goals shows current goal cards and provides View All and Add Goal.
  • Recent Notes shows recent profile notes and provides View All and Add note.
  • Goal Progress Over Time displays progress after completed sessions contain recorded trial data.

Use the profile tabs

The tabs at the top of Profiles apply to the selected client or student:

  • Dashboard brings together summary cards and quick actions.
  • Goals organizes goal records into Active, Proposed, Completed, and Archived views.
  • Sessions lists session records in All, Upcoming, In Progress, Delivered, and Absent/Canceled views.
  • Notes lets you search, add, and expand profile notes. Session notes can include View Session.
  • Finance shows session-level charges and payment information, with filters and spreadsheet export controls.
  • Reports provides report-generation tools, saved reports, and progress by goal.
  • Files opens the file area.

Only open or share clinical and financial information when you are authorized to do so.

Understand empty states

A newly added or lightly documented profile may show messages such as:

  • Complete sessions to see performance
  • No appointments for this student
  • No active goals yet
  • No notes yet

If a card is empty, check the selected client or student and open the related tab for other statuses or filters.

Protect profile information

Profiles may contain contact details, age, appointments, clinical goals and notes, performance data, files, and financial information.

  • Check the selected profile before entering or changing information.
  • Share or export information only when you are authorized to do so.
  • Review and correct AI-generated goal suggestions, session-note drafts, and report drafts before saving or using them. They do not replace professional judgment.
  • Do not include sensitive profile information in an unencrypted support message.

If information is missing or unexpected

  • Reopen the profile selector and choose the client or student again.
  • Check whether the related record is in a different tab or status, such as Proposed, In Progress, or Archived.
  • Review active filters on Sessions, Finance, Goals, or Reports.
  • If a recent session is still In Progress, open Sessions and review that record.

If the profile still appears incorrect, contact iSpeax Support without including clinical, financial, appointment, caregiver, or other sensitive details.
