Overview
AI-assisted documentation overview
iSpeax can generate suggestions for proposed goals and drafts for session notes and reports. Check and correct all generated content before saving or sharing it.
What iSpeax can draft
- For a proposed goal, open Goals, select Add Goal, and choose iSpeax Goal Builder®. The builder generates goal suggestions for review.
- For a session note, select Generate under Session Notes on Session Details. Review the note before finishing the session.
- For a report, open the selected profile's Reports tab and use AI Report Generator. Choose Present Levels, Progress Report, Evaluation Summary, or Narrative Summary.
Each tool has its own steps. Use the related articles for complete instructions.
Check your profile settings
Check the role and professional title in Settings > Profile before creating a draft.
iSpeax does not list every profile record or field used to generate content. Do not assume a draft is based only on the information visible on the page where you create it.
Before you generate a draft
- Make sure the correct client or student is selected.
- Review the profile information related to the goal, session, or report.
- Check the date range, goals, scores, notes, and other information shown on the page.
- Enter only information that belongs in the client or student's record and is needed for the draft.
Check every draft
Before saving, check:
- The draft refers to the correct client or student and dates.
- Goals, scores, attendance, assistance, services, and observations match the profile.
- Statements are supported by the information in the profile.
- Uncertain information is not written as fact.
- Names, terms, measurements, units, and dates are correct.
- The draft contains only information you are allowed to record or share.
Edit or remove anything that is wrong, unclear, or not supported by the client or student's profile. Generating the draft again does not replace this review.
Know the limits
Generated text can include statements that are not supported by the client or student's profile, and its formatting may need correction. A polished sentence can still be wrong.
Do not save, share, or rely on a draft until an authorized professional has reviewed it.
If a draft is wrong
- Check the selected client or student, date range, and other inputs.
- Correct incomplete, ambiguous, or mistyped information.
- Edit the draft directly when the page allows it.
- Generate a new draft only after correcting the inputs.
- If the problem continues, contact iSpeax Support without including sensitive profile information.
