How-to
Add and manage locations
Create the physical or online locations your team uses for services and scheduling. You can also review and update existing locations from Settings.
Before you begin
- Decide whether the location is Physical or Online.
- Choose the name team members should see when they select a location.
- If your organization uses a place-of-service code or National Provider Identifier, have the approved values ready.
- For a physical location, have the full address ready.
Required fields can differ by location type. Complete the fields marked as required.
Open Locations
- Open Settings.
- Select Locations.
The location table shows the saved name, type, and POS code for each location.
Add a location
- Select New location.
- Choose Physical or Online.
- Enter the Display name.
- Add the Place of service (POS) and NPI when your organization uses them.
- For a physical location, complete the address fields:
- Physical address
- Suburb/Province
- City
- State
- Zip code
- Country
- Review the location type and entered values.
- Select Save.
The saved location appears in the Locations table. Open it again if you need to check the details.
Choose the right location type
Use Physical for a place with an address. Use Online for remote services that do not need a street address in iSpeax. The online form still allows a display name, POS code, and NPI.
Review or edit an existing location
- Open an existing location from the table.
- On Edit Location, review whether the location is Physical or Online.
- Update the applicable field and review the full form.
- Select Save.
Warning: Delete is available on Edit Location. Before deleting a location used in bookings or sessions, contact iSpeax Support if you need to confirm which records the action affects or whether it can be restored.
If a location does not appear as expected
- Return to Locations and reopen the record.
- Review the name, type, and POS code.
- If a service should use this location, open that service in Settings > Services and check Location of service.
- If the location should be available during online booking, preview the public booking page.
- If the saved information is still wrong, contact iSpeax Support without including addresses, identifiers, appointment details, or other sensitive information.
